Dance, Dance, Dance and Dance some more!

I scrabbled over to Kittie’s Lair today to pick up the new francine shoes (slow coach, I know.). As soon as I put them on, I had the urge to dance….so out came the sine wave flamenco dances..nope, not right, the floor dances? nope try again davi….then I clicked one I hadn’t even used before, “crazy legs” which is one of the men’s dances (I think?) and pretty much tap inspired - hit the nail on the head here davi. My inventory was pretty lacking on anything to go with it so I hit the Dancer’s Mecca, a.k.a. “Spirit” and picked up the cropped shorts and the hoodie, teamed with a plain white tank from Last Call (sorry gals) and my beloved freebie tights from G.L.A.M. I was ready to tap til my shoes couldn’t tap anymore….

So…the other day I went over to Eolande’s at Ohana Isle and in my “peasoupslowrezimpatient-ness” (it’s in the dictionary, look it up :P) ended up wandering into the Punk Shack, mid build. I must say the new store is looking great and is fun just to hang out in even if you’re not buying. While having a chat I noticed the cutest little skirts on the wall (kudos to Tea Panhandle) which I’ve put this outfit together around with a plain white Armidi tank and the Devilish Bowler (by Nanuk, coming soon). Cracking out the trusty old glossy ribbon boots by Shiny Things and playing around with the new lace colour HUD, accessories from Earthones, Digit Darkes and Creamshop.

(Review) Most definitely one to keep an eye on….

I’ve been very busy scooting over the grid these past few days, picking up some amazing new releases from the likes of Maitreya and the skin guru herself, Minnu. Yesterday whilst braving the extreme lag inducing stampede to Minnu to pick up the new Diva skins in my beloved Tan skintone, I decided to check out the newly released hair. Once partially rezzed my beady little eye spotted an avatar teetering about in one of the prettiest skirts I’ve seen, on closer inspection the designer alarm bells rang off and I tackled her for a landmark. Analee Balut designs some of the prettiest new things I’ve seen in a while, immediately after stepping into the store this 70s inspired Kaftan and Pant combo grabbed my eye. The texturing is amazing on the kaftan with a pretty tropical inspired print which is perfect teamed with your favourite pair of pants or over that must have bikini - zings on darker skins.

Silken Shoestrings

I absolutely adore this gown from Blaze, what a way to make an entrance, and an absolute sizzler from the back too. This fabulous purple silk gown has shoe string shoulder straps and a low cowl back with delicate silver lacing all the way up the back. Teamed with some killer shoes from Zhao (very like my favourite Jimmy Choo ‘macy’), dripping in lavish RH Engel jewellery with some Miam Miam earrings for balance, tuck that hair behind your ear with an ornate lily and make that entrance!! Office Chic, with my espresso streak.

It’s been a few days since my last post as I’ve been busy moving into my shiny new office at Lionheart tower. I run an interior design/terraforming business when I’m not shopping for the next must haves (see my profile in world for a link or info) so today’s post is my fave office outfit for whizzing around the grid working on client projects and for meetings, the Puma Jie, from Icing. A great tip someone gave me a long time ago for wearing “Linden” skirts is to copy your shape then edit the butt down to 0, giving you the perfect nipped in waist for those essential pencil skirts, without the ‘bubble butt’ effect!!!*Unfortunately the Last Call Boardroom Barracuda suit had to be shelved due to the store’s sad closure* See the cut for shopping list. Summer bikinis…

While I was sim-hopping today I found an amazing place for shooting pictures, Templum ex Obscurum. This sim is part of Relic, currently undergoing construction but is home to some of the most well built furniture and home accessories I’ve seen on the grid. Whilst exploring I stumbled on the black sand beach, reminding me of hawaii I decided to grab the opportunity to shoot some of my fave bikinis out at the moment. For these pictures I held off on the accessories to focus on the clothing only, there are a few so more pics and credits after the cut!

Agent Eldridge

I bought this coat when the mad rush came for the new Gisaci collection at Armidi, then almost forgot about it until I was having an inventory reshuffle. As soon as I put this on I started thinking of Film Noir, so this is my modern day femme fatalé, shot at the fabulous Trilogy sim - fashion alley in the rain. The search for the must have bob brought me back to Maitreya, I’d forgotten how good the texture of the hair is - more more more please! Accessorised with a simple necklace Im good to go, make mine a Martini.

I’m having an affair with Digit Darkes…

Yesterday I swung by Digit’s mainstore at Addictive and instantly fell in love with this stunning little slip dress. The dress is available in 6 combinations for $400 each or Digit junkies can buy the fat pack for the steal of $1600. The texturing on these slips is second to none, when I slipped this on I could almost feel the silk, I decided to wear the black slip in all it’s glory just adding a simple necklace, bangle stack and pumps, unable to resist I jumped back to pick it up in the white/black also. Digit has been prising our lindens from our grubby little hands in all manners this week as the Bauhaus and Gossipgirl dresses were also released so if you haven’t been to check them out then tp your butt over and be armed with linden as they’re just too gorge to pass on!
*Update 27th April* - Sadly it has come to light that the textures from some of Digit’s work has been stolen. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not encourage these thieves by buying from them, buying cut price shoddy copies harms all of us, not just the designers who strive so hard to bring us these wonderful pieces.
